Right around midnight Montgomery County Dispatch Send Members of Cheltenham Fire to Melrose Shopping Center on Cheltenham Av for a structure fire. Crews arrived on location with heavy smoke showing which turned into heavy fire and a 2nd alarm was struck. While the fire progressed from store to store an additional engine and truck were requested for manpower. In all it appeared that 7 businesses in the strip mall were damaged by fire one person was killed in this fire, crews worked for several hours before bringing the fire under control and it is currently under investigation....
