On Scene as Allentown Police investigate a hit and run accident at the intersection of Amanda and Court St in the City. It is reported an On Duty Police Officer was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene, the officer was reportedly taken to a local trauma center with serious but non life threatening injuries. Allentown Police continue to investigate the incident and look for the vehicle and operator involved..
