Allentown Firefighters Rescue 2 Yr Old from Burning Row Home

 During the early morning hours Allentown Fire Department was dispatched to the 1100 Blk of Chew St for a reported house fire, once on location firefighters stretched a line into the first floor for a fire in the rear of the building. Crews stretched a 2nd line to the 2nd floor as fire was venting out the rear windows of the building. As hose teams were making hits the search crew found a 2 yr old child and removed the child to awaiting EMS who transported the child to a local hospital. The fire was under control in about an hour, but remains under investigation
