Late Thursday night EMS was dispatched to the area of Irving Park for a reported shooting, Crews arrived to find one juvenile with a Gunshot Wound and transported him to the hospital. Allentown Police were investigating the incident and determined that the shooting occurred during a robbery attempt. A group of juveniles attempted to rob a Former APD officer who had a license to carry a weapon, during the incident he discharged his weapon striking one person. That officer was also injured in the incident, Police report two people are in custody and other arrest are pending.
