Lightning Strike Suspected in 2nd Alarm Salisbury Fire

Early this afternoon during an intense lightning storm Salisbury Station 31 was dispatched to 2813 Lindberg Ave for the reported Dwelling Fire.  First arriving crews found heavy smoke condition with fire in the basement of the residence, Command quickly requested the 2nd alarm struck.  As crews started to open up they found fire in the walls extending to the upper floors with that command requested additional engines to the scene along a cascade truck and rehab units.  In all 3 lines were stretched and put into operation, no injuries were reported.  Although lightning is suspected the fire is still under investigation.....
