Right around 0000 hrs on 4.12.12 Lower Milford Fire was dispatched to the 8300 blk of Milky Way Rd for a reported house fire, as crews were responding they were advised of multiple calls coming into the communications center. Chief 13 arrives on location with heavy fire showing and strikes the 2nd alarm and request additional tankers for water supply. Crews put multiple lines in service to knock down the fire, no injuries were reported and the homeowners escaped with out issue. It took crews about 2 hrs to get the fire under control due to a slow response by the electric company and a hot line in the residence that was actively burning.
