Allentown Firefighters Make Quick Work of East Side Job

Allentown Firefighters were alerted to a fire in an apartment building on the East Side of the City Early Monday Morning. Engine 13 arrives first due and reports smoke showing, Battalion 43 follows up reported fire from the rear and transmits the Working Fire. Crews stretch two line into the first floor apartment which was well involved and made a quick hit on it. Crews remained on location for the morning doing overhaul and fire watch the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshals Office.
