Bethlehem Stretches on 2nd Alarm Structure Fire


Around 0215 hrs Wednesday Morning Bethlehem Firefighters were dispatched to the 1200 Blk of Lorain St for a structure fire, as crews are responding they are advised of numerous calls coming in for a working fire. Police arrive on location and confirm a garage is well involved in a rear ally, first arriving engine goes in service and request a 2nd alarm struck. Crews stretch multiple lines to knock the fire and protect the exposure building, the bulk of fire was knocked down in short time and crews worked for a couple hours on hotspots and the investigation. This was the 2nd Garage fire in the city in a 24 hr period and one of several fires city firefighters have had to extinguish over the last couple days..
