On Saturday and Sunday May 18th and 19 Firefighters from all over the country descended on Allentown and Whitehall for a Tactical Fire Training session. Instructors were brought in from Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago, and FDNY to give their knowledge and experience to the 100 some students in the class. In Allentown Crews worked on advancing hand lines and truck company operations while at the Whitehall location they operated in Thermal Imaging and the mental aspect to the job. The two day course was offered through Leadership Under Fire and the Firefighters we talked to said they gained a lot of new information from the class.
