Around 1500 hrs on Thursday Afternoon Catty and North Catty Fire were dispatched to Silver Manor Apartments for a building fire, Police arrive first on scene and report a working fire and a 2nd alarm is struck. Crews arrive to fire in the 4th Floor rear and stretch multiple lines to both the interior and exterior of the structure. Truck crews take to the roof as fire starts to get into the cockloft of the structure. As crews open up to stop the spread of fire a third alarm is struck bringing in extra manpower. Several lines are put into operation and 4 truck companies go in service holding the fire to the top floor and rear roof area. No injuries were reported and the red cross was notified for at least 25 people, the cause is under investigation..
