While most people were preparing for their Memorial Day Dinner the members of AFD 1st Platoon were stretching on a house fire. Crews responded to the 600 Blk of North Law St for reports of a house on fire, Units arrived to find smoke showing from the 3rd floor Middle of the Row. 2 Lines were stretched with one put into operation to make a quick knock on the first floor fire, crews opened up checking for extension and also checked the neighboring home. No injuries were reported and crews wrapped up and started to clear in about an hour, the fire marshal is investigating the fire..
