Around 0630 hrs Thursday Morning Allentown Firefighters are dispatched to Acme Cryogenics for a reported Hazmat Leak. Crews arrived to find a storage tank leaking Carbon Dioxide causing a vapor cloud in the area, Crews evacuate local businesses in the industrial park and set up a staging area. As crews await further Hazmat Tech Members to arrive a delivery driver familiar with the operations of the tank lends his assistance with shutting down the valve and securing the leak. The all clear was given and workers were allowed back into the area, technicians were notified for repairs to the refrigeration system on the tank.
