NVP Crew Covers Hurricane Sandy as it Impacts the Lehigh Valley

The Superstorm that was Named Sandy Converged on the East Coast of the United States on October 29th 2012.  When it made landfall it was a Category 1 Hurricane that turned into a Noreaster bringing High Winds and Rain to much of our coverage area.  When the storm first started to hit the Lehigh Valley it seemed that rain was going to be the main issue as streets were closed in advance of expected flood waters, but as the evening progressed it quickly became evident that the winds were going to be the main story of this storm.  Our crews were all over the area the day after the storm tore through the area and will provide three different stories from some of the hardest hit area.
