Allentown Calls a 4th Alarm as Fire Rages in Rowhomes


Around noon time on Thursday Allentown firefighters were dispatched to the 800 blk of 8th St for the Dwelling fire. Upon arrival they had two homes well involved and struck a 2nd and then 3rd alarm. Crews struggled to gain the upper hand on the inferno as it ravaged through multiple homes. As fire continued to spread and numerous lines were put into service a 4th alarm was transmitted. 5 firefighters suffered injury and were taken to the hospital and 7 homes were damaged by fire. This was the first fire to hit the city after the new manpower totals were put in place which put one of two tower ladders out of service, That truck ended up being utilized to fight this fire. Crews remained on scene for several hours knocking down hotspots...

  1. Well, Thanks for explaining about the fire alarm systems as it is more important to have your fire alarms in proper order as it should be needed any time. In all there are many companies which provides good Service fire alarm in Miami or in many other states with more good facilities.
