FDNY Strikes 7th Alarm on Brooklyn Blaze


Around 1019 hrs Brooklyn Dispatched sent units to 665 New York Avenue for the Structural Fire, On Arrival Battalion 41 Struck a 10-75 All Hands and Immediatly Requested the 2nd Alarm due to heavy fire on the top floor and through the roof. With fire spreading through the cockloft and top of building a 3rd and then 4th alarm was struck by command. At one point 9 lines were stretched and operating before going to the 5th and then 6th alarm bringing in multiple tower ladders which set up for master streams operations. As the fire was brought under control a 7th alarm was struck for relief purposes. It is reported that 3 firefighters and multiple civilians were injured in this fire.....Photos provided by our new Brooklyn, NY Contributor.....
