Crews From Allentown and Lehigh County Battled an overnight Forest Fire along the mountainside between Constitution and Skyline Drive. Crews had to evacuate 5 homes and an apartment building due to the fast moving flames, Firefighters from the City of Allentown ran numerous hoselines and put two truck companies in service to protect the homes. In the meantime Forestry and Brush Crews from Lehigh County made thier way through the rough terrain to set up a fire line and extinguish the fire. It took crews a couple of hours to contain the fire and bring it under control, the cause is under investigation.......
