Bethlehem 2nd Alarm Apartment Building Fire
Late Saturday morning while road crews were still cleaning up after an overnight snow storm Bethlehem Firefighters were dispatched to the 3600 Blk of Township Line Road for a reported Chimney Fire, as crews were responding it was upgraded to a building fire after receiving additional calls for fire in the roof. Crews arrived and stretched 2 lines into the structure to try and contain a well vented fire that was starting to spread. When those efforts were not working a tower ladder was placed in service along with a ladder pipe and several hand lines to knock down the blaze. All occupants evacuated safely into the cold and crews worked for a little over an hour to bring the fire under control..
