Allentown Firefighters Rescue Two Dogs at 3rd Alarm Structure Fire
Around 1230 hrs Allentown Firefighters were dispatched to the 500 Blk of 7th St for a reported dwelling fire, upon responding the comm center upgraded the box to a working fire do to being able to see flames venting from the building on the city camera system. Battalion 43 arrived and confirmed the job with engine 9 stretching and truck 2 setting up, as wind driven flames burned a 2nd alarm was transmitted. As crews continued to open up and attempt to get an upper hand a 3rd alarm was struck do to an auto exposure issue from the winds, crews rescued to dogs from the building and 2 civilians were treated for injuries....
