Fire and HazMat Crews Respond to South Whitehall Home
Sunday Afternoon stations 32 and 62 are dispatched to a home on 21st street in South Whitehall for a person with breathing issues after inhaling a chemical. Crews arrive on location and firefighters pack up with meters to make sure everyone is out of the home, Station 42 Lehigh County Special Ops is then requested for assistance with clearing the home and decontamination purposes. Crews determined it was several bug bomb type products that went off everyone was decontaminated and one person was reportedly taken to the hospital for evaluation, also assisting on scene were crews from stations 85, NC 14, 3, 11 and Allentown 78..
