Allentown Shooting Results in Standoff on Allen St

 

Allentown Police respond to the area of 16th and Allen for a reported shooting, once on location they found a female shooting victim down after being shot while in her vehicle with a child inside, EMS arrive and quickly take her to the trauma center. Police then Converge on a residence in the 1600 Blk of Allen St were the male suspect was held up with the couples baby. After a brief standoff the APD ERT Unit takes the individual into custody and CSI takes over for the investigation, the child was taken to the hospital for evaluation and later turned over to Children and Youth Services.
