Around 1620 hrs Lower Macungie Fire was dispatched to Aster Rd for the reported Dwelling Fire, first arriving officer went on location reporting smoke showing from the second floor. After command was established a 2nd alarm was requested due to heavy smoke coming from multiple homes in the row. Crews stretched a line into the residence to knock down the fire while truck companies opened up the roof to prevent fire spread and check for extension. No injuries were reported, a total of three homes were damaged and crews operated on location for a couple hours.
