I-78 Truck Fire Shuts Down an Exit Ramp

On Location of a tractor trailer fire on I-78 right at the Summit lawn Exit Ramp, the original call came in for mile marker 60 drawing a response from Upper Saucon Fire Department. Upon searching for the vehicle they found it at mile marker 59 Crews from Upper Saucon Station 27 and assisting units knocked the fire down and then determined the incident was in Salisbury Twp. Lehigh County Stations 31 and 20 were then dispatched to handle the clean up and overhaul of the trailer since it was in their district. In all LC Stations 27, 31, 20, and 13 (Tanker Only) and NC Station 18 Responded to and worked this Incident.....
