Around 1330 hrs on Monday Afternoon Allentown Fire was dispatched to the 1000 blk of Jerome St for the building fire, While responding Engine 6 reports smoke visible from the Tilghman St Bridge. Crews arrived to heavy fire on the second floor and immediatly put 2 lines in service, Truck 2 goes to the roof and opens up with minor fire spread. One Civilian was taken to the hospital with burns to the body and at least one firefighter was treated for heat related illness.
