Shortley After Midnight on Saturday 6.23.12 Firefighters from Plainfield Twp are dispatched to RPM Recycling for the reported fire with explosions, Crews responding to the scene new they were going to work when they saw a smoke column while responding. Once on scene they had a large scrap pile fully envolved and additional tankers were requested to the scene, Eventually a 2nd alarm would be struck as crews operated with heaviest water lines and elevated master streams. Crews worked for hours to bring the fire under control no injuries were reported..
