In the Early Afternoon Northampton County Radio Dispatched Station 18 to their Leithsville Station for a Motor Vehicle accident involving a dump truck and the Station. As first crews go responding they are updated to reports of a structural fire at the location. First arriving units confirmed a Dump Truck into the front of the structure with the building fully Involved. The fire would quickly intensify into a "Greater Alarm Equivalent" Job bringing in Engine, Truck and Tanker Trucks from all over Northampton, Bucks, and Lehigh County. Crews battled the fire for hours while members of the station looked on. At the time of the fire there was an Engine, Tanker and Brush truck in the building along with all gear and equipment used by the station. During overhaul operations it was discovered that another vehicle was struck by the dump truck prior to it entering the building the occupant of that vehicle was located deceased inside the wreckage.
